Description
xSet of 2 Corduroy Counter Stools with Open Curved Backs in Mustard, 25 Inch Seat
Wide wale corduroy in mustard, wrapped over a curved seat and a floating back rail that leaves a gap you can see through. The white metal frame runs as one bent tube, and the seat sits 25 in from the floor.

Mustard corduroy on a white bent tube frame.
One strong colour, twice
Mustard corduroy against white is the whole design. The ribs catch the light differently along their length, so the colour shifts through the day in a way a flat fabric does not.
A narrower table range than most
The maker gives 34 in to 36 in rather than the usual 35 in to 39 in. At 25 in the seat leaves 9 in to 11 in under those, so a taller counter would leave a gap wider than most people want.
The gap between back and seat
The back rail floats above the seat rather than joining it, which is what makes the stool look light from across a room. It also means the support sits at one height only, low across the back.
Corduroy, and what it asks of you
A ribbed pile fabric. It feels warm and it holds colour well, but crumbs settle in the wales, so it wants vacuuming along the ribs rather than across them.

What we stand behind
- The 19 in by 18 in seat, the 5.5 in back, the 25 in seat height, the 36.5 in overall height, the 10 in footrest, the 20 in by 20 in base and the 330 lb capacity all come from this listing's own drawing.
- The maker's table range is 34 in to 36 in, narrower and lower than most stools in this group. Above 36 in the gap under the counter grows wider than most people find comfortable.
- The back is a floating rail 5.5 in high rather than a full back, so the support sits low across the back and there is nothing above it.
- Corduroy is a pile fabric. No rub count, pile weight or cleaning code is published.
- Ships from our Canadian or United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
What counter height suits them?
Thirty four to 36 in, which is the maker's own figure. At 36 in a 25 in seat leaves 11 in of knee room.
Is the back high enough to lean on?
It is 5.5 in high and sits low across your back. It supports the lumbar rather than the shoulders, and there is a gap between it and the seat.
How do I clean corduroy?
Vacuum along the ribs rather than across them, and blot spills straight away. Crumbs settle in the wales, so a brush head helps.
Will the frame mark my floor?
Each end of the runner carries a non slip pad rather than bare metal.
