Description
xKids Round Activity Table with 2 Cushioned Chairs
Sponge padded seats, beech legs underneath and a round top with nothing sharp on it.
Padded seats20 inch table heightASTM and CPSIA listed
Hard seats cut sessions short
Children get up because they are uncomfortable
A bare plastic or plywood seat gets uncomfortable after twenty minutes, and the drawing stops long before the child has run out of ideas.
A sponge cushion on every seat
The manufacturer pads both seats. It is a small thing that buys an extra half hour at the table, which is the whole point of buying one.
Engineered wood with solid beech legs, finished in plain white, with a round top that has no corner anywhere on it. The chair backs follow the curve of a child's spine, and both the table and the chairs are rated to 176 lb. The whole set weighs 22 lb and is listed for ages 3 to 8 with ASTM and CPSIA certification.
Soft where it counts
The shells are moulded, the seats are padded and the legs are beech. It is the difference between a chair a child perches on and one they settle into.
Taller than most toddler sets
The seats sit 13.5 inches off the floor against a 20 inch table. That is a higher pairing than a two year old set, which is why the manufacturer puts it at 3 to 8 years.
Backs that do some work
The chair back curves to meet the lower spine rather than standing straight up. Combined with the cushion, it is a seat a child can use for homework rather than just for snacks.
