Description
xFull Size Upholstered Bed with Lift-Up Bookcase Storage Headboard and 1000 lb Capacity, Grey
The headboard is a bookcase with shelf openings of 20.5, 12, 8 and 3.5 inches, and its lid opens on hydraulic rods so it cannot drop on a hand. The frame is 82 by 55.5 by 41.5 inches and carries a published 1000 lb.

A grey velvet base with a rustic wood bookcase headboard above it, and a lid across the top that lifts on rods rather than hinges alone.
Four shelf openings, four sizes
The bookcase is divided unevenly on purpose: openings of 20.5, 12, 8 and 3.5 inches take a row of paperbacks, a stack of magazines and a phone without wasting the space between. The whole bed is 82 by 55.5 inches and 41.5 inches tall, for a mattress 10 to 12 inches thick.
Why the rods matter
The lid across the top of the headboard opens on hydraulic rods. On a lid at pillow height that is a safety question as much as a convenience one, which is why the manufacturer labels it child-friendly. It also means the lid does not slam.
A bookcase, not a ledge
The shelving runs the full 55.5 inches behind the pillows, deep enough for books standing upright rather than lying down. On a Double against one wall that removes the need for a bedside table on either side.
Six inches underneath
Low, and honestly so. A robot vacuum clears the rail and flat storage will slide under, but a suitcase will not. This is a bed built around headboard storage rather than under-bed storage, and the published figures reflect that.

Who is this perfect for?
Rooms with no space for a bookcase
Four shelf openings across 55.5 inches of headboard, behind the bed rather than taking floor space beside it.
Households with children
The lid opens on hydraulic rods and closes slowly rather than dropping, which is why the manufacturer labels it child-friendly.
Anyone on a 10 to 12 inch mattress
That is the window the manufacturer publishes for this frame, and it covers most foam and hybrid mattresses sold in Canada.
