Description
xContoured HDPE Lounge Chair for Deck and Pool Shelf, 48 in, Turquoise
Turquoise against pool water is close to camouflage, which is either the point or a nuisance depending on how often you count the furniture.
48 in chairIn or out of water450 lb46.5 lb
The short contoured chair in turquoise.
The numbers
48 in long and 31 in high, seat 8.5 in up and foot end 5.5 in. At 48 in it is a chair rather than a full length lounger, which is the difference between sitting back and lying out.
In the water
5.5 in to 8.5 in of water is what it is built for. Pool builders put the ideal tanning ledge at 6 in to 9 in of water and note that most furniture starts floating past 9 in, which is the gap this chair's own weight is meant to close.
What holds it together
Reinforced crossbars under the seat, 304 stainless fasteners rather than plated steel.
Colour over time
The maker calls the material sun proof and fade resistant. Mild soap, warm water and a soft brush, then a rinse. Nothing abrasive, because scouring pads scratch the surface.
What you get
Contoured HDPE
One moulded curve.
Deck or shelf
Dry or in shallow water.
450 lb
The maker's stated rating.
Stainless screws
304 grade throughout.
No cushion
Nothing to store.
