In most play kitchens the sink is squeezed between the hob and the fridge. Whoever is washing up is standing exactly where the cook wants to be.
The basin stands apart
Here the washing basin is its own unit at the end of the run. One child can rinse while another cooks, and the basin can be pulled away entirely if the room is tight.
Coffee brown MDF meets white doors, pale wood handles and a marble effect splashback. A fridge with a blackboard panel and an ice maker stands at one end. The corner takes a range hood over dual stoves, with an oven and a dishwasher below, and the basin unit sits at the far end.
A basin that lifts out and lights up
The faucet rotates, the grey sink tray detaches for emptying, and the tap gives a colour change and a sound while it runs. The manufacturer states two AAA batteries for the faucet, which are not included.
Four things that react
The range hood, the microwave, the dual stoves and the rotary knobs all give sound or light. The manufacturer states six AAA batteries for these, again not supplied.
