Light cable running over the branches
Wind a string on by hand and the green flex ends up lying across the front of the branches. In daylight it reads as a line of cable looped round the tree, which is the giveaway that the lights were added afterwards.
Wiring run behind the foliage
The manufacturer calls this out on their own panel as hidden light wiring: the 540 LEDs are fitted with the cable run in behind the tips rather than over them. What you see are bulbs sitting in the foliage, not a cable wrapped round it.

Four feet eleven inches, which is short for a tree this size. Check the distance to your nearest outlet before you choose a corner, or plan on an extension lead running under the tree skirt.
How long does it take to shape?
The manufacturer suggests allowing 45 to 60 minutes for the tree to reach its fullest form. Work from the bottom section up, pulling each branch away from the pole and bending the tips upward, which is what fluffing guides recommend for any dense tree.
