x69 Inch Rubber Wood Cat Tree with a Space Capsule, U Hammock and Two Condos
A clear capsule sits in one platform, a U shaped hammock hangs under another, and the two condos are different shapes: one round with slatted walls, one open fronted at the base. The posts measure 5.7 inches across.

What usually goes wrong
A cat that wants to be surrounded usually has to give up its view. Fabric cubes are dark and airless, and the cat that hides in one spends the afternoon not knowing what the household is doing.
How this one answers it
This frame answers it three ways: a clear capsule set into a platform, a round condo with slatted walls that air and light pass through, and an open fronted box at the base.
Pale rubber wood boards and cream rope columns, with a clear dome set into one platform and a slatted round condo below it.
What sits where
A 16 inch top perch, a hammock 18.5 across, a round condo around 10 inches and a semi enclosed box at the base of roughly 24 by 12 by 10 with an 8 inch opening, all on a base of 27.5 by 21.5. The maker publishes 33 lbs for each layer and posts 5.7 inches thick, which is a pair of figures worth having in writing at this price.
Slats instead of solid walls
The round condo has slatted wooden walls rather than closed ones, so air moves through it and the cat can still see out. The box at the base is open at one end. Neither is a sealed fabric cube, which is the standard complaint about cat condos in a warm room in summer.
A capsule you can see into
A clear dome is set into one of the platforms, so a cat lies inside something enclosed while the room stays visible in both directions. It reads as a novelty until you watch a cat use one, at which point the appeal of being surrounded without being blind is fairly obvious.
Five point seven inches of post
The posts measure 5.7 inches across, close to twice the thickness of a standard tower post. On a frame carrying a capsule and a hammock out past the edge of the base, that thickness is what keeps the whole thing from feeling lively when a cat lands hard on one side.

Who is this perfect for?
Rooms with wooden furniture
Pale rubber wood boards and natural rope read as furniture rather than as pet equipment, which is most of what the extra money on this one buys.
Warm homes
A slatted condo and an open fronted box both move air, so a cat still has somewhere covered to lie in August rather than sprawling on the floor tiles.
Heavy cats
Posts 5.7 inches thick and 33 lbs published for each layer are the two numbers that matter when a large cat lands on the far edge of a platform.
