Every evening the same routine
Switch the tree on, cycle past the modes you do not want, turn the brightness back down, and then remember to switch it off at bedtime. By the middle of December most people give up and leave it on one setting.
Set it once, and it remembers
This one saves the last mode, colour and brightness, so it comes back exactly as you left it. Three timer patterns then handle the on and off, and the remote means none of it involves kneeling behind the tree.
This is the six foot size in a family that runs from five to seven feet. The tip and bulb counts step up with the height, and the control system is identical across all three, so the choice between them is only about how much room you have.
What 1168 tips gives you
The graphic shows both leaf types, PE and PVC, and the tree they make. At six feet, 1168 tips is dense enough that the trunk does not show from the side, which is where thinner trees give themselves away.
Every setting, listed
Eleven modes across two colour channels, three timer patterns, four brightness levels and the memory function, all set from the remote or the controller on the cord. The timer patterns are six on and eighteen off, eight on and sixteen off, or six on, six off, three on and nine off.

The two colour channels
The same 350 bulbs lit warm white on one side and in colour on the other. That is what the two channels do, and the remote switches between them from the sofa rather than from the floor behind the tree.

What do the three timers do?
Six hours on and eighteen off, eight on and sixteen off, or six on, six off, three on and nine off. The last suits a house where the tree is wanted in the morning and again in the evening.
Is the remote the only control?
No. There is a light controller on the cord as well, so the tree is still fully adjustable if the remote goes missing.
How dense is 1168 tips at six feet?
Dense. Canadian Tire's guide gives 600 to 4600 as the usual range across all sizes, so 1168 on a six foot frame is well above the middle of it and the tree holds its shape without gaps.
How does the memory function work?
The manufacturer describes it as saving your last setting so the display is ready when you switch on. No detail is published about how long that memory holds, so we will not promise more than that.
