Description
x52 Inch Gothic Cat Tree with Striped Sisal Posts and a Railed Cat Bed
The posts are wound in black and white striped sisal rather than plain rope, which is the detail that makes this one look deliberate. Six levels climb to a 12 inch perch at 52 inches.
52 in tallStriped sisal postsRailed cat bed12 in condo4 platforms
Black plush with pillar box red tops and candy striped sisal columns, with a flower shaped ladder running up from the base.
Six levels, ten inch steps
Levels sit at roughly 10, 17.5, 25.5, 30, 40.5 and 49 inches with the perch rim at 52. The bed is 20 by 14 and the condo 12 inches across and 12 tall with a 6.5 by 9 inch door, on a base of 23 by 19. Steps of eight to ten inches are a walk rather than a leap.
Four shapes of rest
A round top perch, a polygonal platform, a railed bed and a closed condo. Four different things rather than four identical boards, which is what decides whether a cat moves around a tree or picks one spot and ignores the rest of it.
Stripes on the rope
The sisal is wound in alternating black and white bands up the columns. It makes no difference to a cat and a considerable difference to the room, because a striped column reads as a design choice where plain cream rope reads as hardware.

Who is this perfect for?
Cats that walk up
Eight to ten inches between levels plus a ladder at the foot means nothing on this tree needs a real jump.
Cats that sprawl
A fence all the way round the 20 by 14 inch bed suits the cat that sleeps flat out with a leg over the edge.
Dark rooms
Black plush with red tops and striped columns. It reads as a deliberate object rather than as equipment parked in a corner.
