During the day, a lit tree is just a tree
Anything in a window or a bright room spends most of its life with the lights off. A plain pre-lit tree in daylight is green plastic and a visible wire, which is when the display stops working.
Details that read with the power off
The light balls on this one have faceted, diamond cut shells that catch daylight on their own. Add 36 snowy pine cones, silver tipped needles and the shawl and pearls on the mannequin, and the piece still holds together at noon.
This is the larger of the two dress form trees in the range, and the difference is not only the tip count. The foliage is snowy, the trim is winter white rather than gold, and the branches are hinged.
Three details in the foliage
The circles show what is packed into the skirt: silver tipped pine needles, snowy PVC leaves and 36 pine cones dusted white. At 465 tips this is nearly twice the foliage of the gold ribbon version, which is what gives the skirt its weight.
Fifty light balls, faceted
The close up shows the shell of one ball: cut in facets like a glass flower, so it refracts light rather than glowing flatly. Fifty of them are spread through the skirt in warm white, and the manufacturer points out they work as ornaments even unlit.
Five feet, with a wider skirt
5 FT tall and 3.3 FT across the skirt, which is over half a foot wider than the gold ribbon version. Two pairs of gloves come with it, which you will want for 465 tips. The adapter is stated UL certified.
The styling, and what lifts off
The pearl necklace and the shawl with its brooch are both removable, so the mannequin can be restyled the way a real dress form is. Underneath, the skirt inspired lower half is a conventional hinged tree on a metal base.

A faceted globe with a bulb inside, hung in the branches like an ornament. There are 50 on this tree in warm white. The manufacturer notes the cut shells refract light, so they still look like decorations when the tree is off.
How is it different from the other mannequin tree?
