Two Adirondack chairs in a small shed
Big, awkward shapes
Adirondack chairs are wide and deep with splayed arms, and two of them side by side take up a good part of a garden shed over winter.
These stack
The maker designed these two to stack one inside the other, so they store in roughly the footprint of one chair.
Two natural acacia Adirondack chairs and a small slatted side table.
Sizes
Chairs 26 in wide, 29 in deep and 36 in tall. Seats 19.5 in by 17.5 in at 14 in at the front, arms at 23 in, back 26.5 in. 400 lb per chair. The side table's size is not published.
Stacking
One chair nests on the other for storage, per the maker. Store them under cover over winter.
Seating
An angled back, wide flat arms for a cup or a book, and a seat that slopes toward the back, per the maker. There are no cushions to bring in.
On the porch
Angle the chairs slightly toward each other with the table between: well inside the 6 to 8 ft that layout guides give for easy conversation. The maker asks that the wood be oiled regularly (oil not included) and kept out of the rain.
