The fastenings, not the furniture
Rust streaks down a leg
Outdoor furniture usually outlasts its screws. Plated steel fasteners corrode where the coating is scratched during assembly, and the first sign is an orange streak running down a leg that no amount of cleaning removes.
304 stainless throughout
This set is put together with 304 stainless steel screws, the same grade used for pool hardware. Nothing on it is mild steel and nothing is painted over, so there is no coating to chip. Combined with PP chairs and an HDPE table, there is nothing in the set that rots, rusts or needs sealing.
Three pieces: two chaise recliners and one side table. The chairs are moulded PP with a slatted, hollowed surface that lets air through and rain out, on six reinforced legs each. The table is HDPE with a waterproof top and a curved edge. Nothing in the set needs oiling, painting or covering, and everything is screwed together with 304 stainless steel.
The numbers
Each recliner is 75 in long and 23 in wide with the back between 11 in and 33 in. The table is 19 in by 14.5 in and 18 in high. Patio planning guides ask for about 30 in of walking room around a group this size, and roughly 6 ft to 8 ft between facing seats.
Five positions each
11 in flat through to 33 in upright, on a notched bar. Both chairs are set separately, so one can sit up while the other lies flat.
Underneath
Six reinforced legs per chair with a support bar behind each back, and a slatted surface that drains rather than pooling. Six legs matter on a 75 in span: four put all the load at the ends and let the middle flex, which is where a moulded chair gives first.
The table
HDPE with a curved edge and a waterproof top. HDPE does not take up water, so the freeze thaw cycle that splits wood and concrete does nothing to it, and the guidance for the material is to leave it where it is over winter and brush heavy snow off for the sake of the hardware rather than the plastic.
