Description
xKids Round Table and 2 Armchair Set
Two moulded armchairs, a 23.5 inch round top and solid beech legs on an iron cross brace.
Armrests on both chairs20 inch table heightAges 3 to 12
Children slide out of plain chairs
Nothing to lean against sideways
An armless seat gives a child nowhere to rest an elbow, so they end up half off the chair with one leg tucked under them.
A shell with arms
These chairs wrap round at the sides. There is somewhere for an elbow to go, which is usually enough to keep a child seated through a whole story.
Two moulded armchairs and a round MDF table, all on solid beech legs with a black wire frame underneath. The top is smooth white with no burrs on the edge, and non-slip rubber feet sit under every leg. The manufacturer gives the set to children aged 3 to 12.
Three pieces, two armchairs
One round table and two chairs with arms. The shell curves round the back and down both sides, which is the difference between this and the armless version.
The fit, measured
The table is 23.5 inches across and 20 inches high, legs 16 by 16 inches. Chairs are 22 inches tall and 14.5 inches deep, with the seat 12 inches off the floor.
Two places, equal reach
Round means no head of the table. Both children are the same distance from the middle, which matters when there is one tub of felt pens between them.
