Is 400 lb really the capacity of a folding chair?
That is what the manufacturer marks on its own reinforced frame panel, alongside a traced X shaped structure. We have not tested it, but it is published rather than implied, which is more than most folding sets manage.
How small does it fold?
Each chair goes to 18 in by 42 in by 5 in and the table to 24 in by 36.5 in. Three pieces stand together against a wall in about the depth of a doorway.
Is the table dining height?
Twenty seven and a half inches, which is just under the standard 28 in to 30 in band for outdoor dining tables. The chair seats sit 16 in from the ground to match.
Can it stay out all summer?
The maker asks that it not sit in prolonged rain. PE rattan handles weather better than natural cane, and since the whole set folds, putting it under cover during a wet week costs nothing.
