This is filed with the children's bikes and it is not one. The manufacturer's own dimensions table recommends a rider between 64 and 74 inches tall, which is an adult, and the bike measures 66 inches long. What it is, is a simple 26 inch hardtail: six gears on a twist shifter, caliper brakes at both wheels, a rigid fork and a 28.5 lb frame. Everything below is their published figure, including the age row that does not match.
The bike
A light grey metal frame with flat bars, a rigid fork, a Shimano six speed drivetrain on a twist shifter and caliper brakes at both wheels. There is no suspension and no coaster brake.
The maker's dimensions table
One row: 26 inch wheels, a recommended rider height of 64 to 74 inches, a suitable age of 8 years and over, a 220 lb weight capacity and a 28.5 lb net weight. The drawing puts the bike at 66 inches long, 38 inches tall and 24.5 inches across the bars, with the saddle between 35.5 and 42 inches. Note the gap between those two figures: a rider 64 inches tall is not usually eight years old, and the height band is the one to trust.
Six and a half inches of seat post
The saddle covers 35.5 to 42 inches, which is a wide range even for an adult frame. The maker specifies sweat-proof PU leather over thick foam, and an adjustment they describe as effortless rather than tool free, so expect a clamp rather than a quick release.
Six gears on a twist
A Shimano six speed shifted by twisting the right grip. Six gears is a small range for a 26 inch bike, which places this as a flat to rolling terrain bike rather than a climber.

Who is this perfect for?
Riders 64 to 74 in tall
The maker's own recommended band. That is an adult or a full grown teenager, not the eight year old their age row suggests.
Parks, paths and city streets
Six gears, a rigid fork and caliper brakes. The maker pictures park, mountain, beach and snow, and the honest reading of that specification is everyday riding rather than rough trails.
Riders who want it simple
No suspension to service and no disc brakes to align. Fewer parts that can go wrong, and less capability when the ground gets rough.
What we stand behind
- The wheel size, recommended rider height, saddle height, overall size, 28.5 lb net weight and 220 lb capacity here are the manufacturer's own published figures.
- No helmet is included. A helmet belongs on every ride, and eight Canadian provinces have helmet legislation, three of them for riders under 18.
- This bike sits in the store's kids bike group, and the group's standard line about play and learning is not a description of it. The manufacturer's own figures call for a rider 64 to 74 inches tall, which is an adult or a full grown teenager.
- The maker's suitable age row says 8 years and over while their recommended rider height is 64 to 74 inches. The height band is the one to use.
- No inseam band is published, so none is stated. Measure against the 35.5 inch saddle floor.
- No safety certification mark appears on this listing, so we claim none.
- Ships from our United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
Frequently asked questions
What rider height is it for?
The maker recommends 64 to 74 inches, which is an adult or a full grown teenager.
Why does it say suitable age 8 and over?
That row does not match their own height band, and we think it is an error in the supplier's data. Use the height band.
How many gears?
Six, a Shimano drivetrain on a twist shifter.
What brakes are fitted?
Caliper brakes at both wheels, hand operated. No discs and no coaster brake.
How heavy is the bike?
28.5 lb, published by the maker.
