Does the seat cushion stay put?
It ties to the frame with ropes at the back, which the manufacturer photographs on its own detail panel. That stops the slow creep forward every time somebody sits down.
How thick is the cushion compared with a normal bench pad?
Five inches here against roughly two on a plain outdoor bench cushion. The back cushion is a separate 22.5 in square pad rather than a thin sling.
What is the table made of?
Steel with a hollow cut top. It is 36 in long, 20 in deep and 19 in high, which sits just above the cushion line so you are not reaching down to a low tray.
Can I leave it out over winter?
Take the cushions in and store them dry. The frame and the open top can stay outside, but check the finish for chips each autumn. Bare steel under the coating is where outdoor rust begins, and standing water at the feet makes it faster.
