Who is this perfect for?
Riders 41.3 to 51.2 in tall
The maker's band, with an inseam of 20.5 to 24 inches against a 21.5 inch saddle floor.
Children who can work a lever
Both brakes are hand operated and there is no coaster brake, so a child who cannot squeeze a lever has no way to stop.
Families who carry the bike
The maker sells the magnesium alloy frame on being lighter than the alternatives, though they publish no weight to prove it, so we do not quote one.
What we stand behind
- The suitable age, rider height, inseam, saddle height, handlebar height, overall size and 145 lb weight capacity here are the manufacturer's own published figures.
- No helmet is included. A helmet belongs on every ride, and eight Canadian provinces have helmet legislation, three of them for riders under 18.
- This is a bike for supervised riding on paths, driveways and parks, never on a road.
- The size table gives the saddle as 21.5 to 25.5 in while the adjustable height panel on the same listing marks it 21.5 to 25 in. The lower top figure is published here.
- The written description repeats the saddle range as the inseam size. The maker's own table gives the inseam as 20.5 to 24 in, and that is what is published.
- This bike has no coaster brake. Both brakes are hand levers, so a child who cannot yet squeeze one has no way to stop.
- No safety certification mark appears on this listing, so we claim none.
- The maker calls the frame lightweight but publishes no bike weight, so we quote none.
- Ships from our Canadian or United States warehouse, free shipping over $150, and 14 day returns unused in the original packaging.
