The problem this solves
What usually goes wrong
A ride on car looks big in a photograph and turns out to be too small the week after a birthday, because nobody publishes the seat.
How this one answers it
The manufacturer measures this one: 12.5 in across, 8 in deep, a 9 in backrest and a 66 lb load capacity. Measure the child against those four numbers before buying and the guesswork disappears.
White licensed Land Rover Discovery Sport kids ride on car with lit LED headlights, black alloy look wheels and a black seat, shown with its white parent remote.
The seat, measured
12.5 in across, 8 in deep, with a 9 in backrest and a published 66 lb load capacity. Most ride on listings show a seat and leave you guessing; this one gives three numbers and a weight.
White over black
White bodywork with black alloy look wheels, a mesh grille, LED headlights and LAND ROVER across the bumper. The car is 38 in long, 24 in wide and 17 in tall.
One button to start
Then a direction button and a foot pedal, at 2.5 mph. The console adds a power switch and a forward and reverse switch, and the steering wheel a horn, music and volume.
What drives it
Dual 35W motors on a 12V 4.5Ah rechargeable battery, with a soft start and stop. The parent remote adds three speed levels from 1.5 mph and a brake.

What we stand behind
- The motor and battery ratings, the speeds in each mode, the 66 lb seat load capacity, the 3 years and up statement and all dimensions are the manufacturer's published figures.
- The Land Rover licence is stated on the product record. We repeat it as stated and make no claim beyond it.
- The manufacturer states this model complies with ASTM and CPSIA and its panel carries ASTM and CPSC CPSIA badges. No certificate number is published, and we do not assert the certification ourselves.
- The remote's lowest setting, 1.5 mph, is slower than anything the child can select in manual mode.
- The remote needs two AA batteries, which the manufacturer states are not included.
- A toy for supervised play on private property. Never on a road, a sidewalk or a bike path.
