Description
x12V Kids Ride On Truck with Anti Slip Wheels, Parent Remote, 3 Speeds, Slow Start and Seat Belt, 66 lb, White
White panels over a black grille and black 10.5 in wheels, on the same 39 in off road shell as the rest of this family. The maker rates the wheels as anti slip and wear resistant and names wood floor, brick road and cement road as the surfaces, which puts a basement in play for the months when a driveway is not. Published figures are 1.5 to 2.8 mph, a 66 lb capacity and a 3 to 7 year age band.

The problem this solves
What usually goes wrong
In most of Canada a ride on bought in May is in a garage by November, and a hard plastic wheel on a hardwood floor is exactly the thing nobody wants indoors.
How this one answers it
The maker lists wood floor alongside brick and cement road, and describes the 10.5 in wheels as anti slip and wear resistant with a spring above each one. That does not make it silent, but it is a truck designed to be driven inside as well as out, so the winter does not have to be a write off.
White bodywork with a black mesh grille insert, roof lamps, lit headlights and black 10.5 in treaded wheels.
White on a grey day
The white shows the body lines and the black trim more clearly than the other colours in this family, and the headlights and roof lamps read well against it in low light.
Published figures
Ages 3 to 7, a 66 lb weight capacity, a 12V 4.5Ah battery, a 12V 500mA charger, 8 to 12 hours charging and 1.5 to 2.8 mph, on a body 39 in long, 26 in wide and 26 in tall.
Wheels and floors
A shock absorber above each wheel, and three surfaces named by the maker: wood floor, brick road and cement road. Indoors is on the list rather than an assumption.
The console
Horn, music, start, direction, speed and light controls plus an MP3 player, all labelled. An AUX cord is included and a USB port sits on the same panel.

Who is this perfect for?
Winter households
Wood floor on the maker's surface list means a basement or a long hallway can take over from the driveway between November and April.
Three to seven year olds
The maker's own band, with a 66 lb capacity that sits above the usual rating for a truck this size.
Parents walking alongside
Three speeds and a brake on the included remote, with the slow start smoothing out the moment a child finds the pedal.
