Does the base come with sand in it?
No. It is a hollow 2.4 ft square tray, 0.5 ft deep, that you fill yourself with sand or water. Play sand or paver sand from any hardware store is the usual choice, and it gives more weight for the same volume than water while never needing to be drained before a freeze.
What size is the umbrella pole?
Two inches across at the section the base grips, printed on the manufacturer's drawing. Because the umbrella and the base are sold together here there is nothing to measure, but the figure is worth keeping if you ever replace either part.
What colour is the canopy called?
Tan on the store listing. The manufacturer's own part code for it reads CF, their shorthand for coffee, and the photographs show a warm greyish brown. The colour field on the record lists the whole range instead of the one that ships, so go by the photos.
How much lap room is there at the table?
